Darcy and Anne: It is a truth universally acknowledged that Lady Catherine will never find a husband for Anne... (Pride & Prejudice Continues) - Judith Brocklehurst Not great, but a sincere attempt to capture the spirit of Austen and give Anne Darcy more of a personality and a future than she appears to have in P&P. I've always felt that there was a story there and that Anne would have a chance at happiness if she could only be gotten out from under her mother's thumb, and Brocklehurst does a creditable job at giving her one.

My main criticisms: 1) Not enough Elizabeth, and 2) the story of Lady Catherine's second marriage seemed contrived and completely out of character
