In the Dark

In The Dark - Brian Freeman The night teenage Jonathan Stride first had sex with his future wife Cindy, her sister Laura was brutally murdered. Thirty-five years later Cindy is dead of cancer, and Laura's best friend, now a writer, has come back to town looking for answers about the murder. Stride, now a detective, finds himself drawn into her search. This was a well-written, suspenseful novel that kept me guessing about the identity of the killer until the end, although other things were more easily figured out.
